First Words Daily

Terms of service

Last updated: 28 July 2026

What this service is

First Words Daily is an educational practice tool for parents and carers of children with speech and language delays. It provides structured activities, instructional videos, and a way to record progress at home.

What this service is not

It is not medical care. It does not diagnose, assess, or treat any condition, and it is not a substitute for evaluation and therapy from a licensed speech-language pathologist or your child's medical team. Nothing here creates a clinician–patient relationship. If you have concerns about your child's development, speak to a qualified professional.

No promises about outcomes

Every child's path is different. We will not tell you how many words your child will gain or how quickly, and you should be sceptical of anyone who does. Progress figures shown on this site are illustrative examples, not predictions.

Purchases and billing

The Starter Guide is a one-time purchase. Coaching plans are recurring subscriptions that renew automatically at the stated interval until you cancel. Payments are processed by our payment provider under their own terms. Prices are shown in US dollars and may change for new purchases; an existing subscription's price will not change without notice to you first.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel a subscription at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. If you have practised for 30 days and seen no benefit, contact us within that window and we will refund your coaching payment in full. Digital guide purchases are refundable within 14 days.

Using the material

Your purchase is a personal, non-transferable licence to use the guides, videos, and activities with your own family. Please don't redistribute, resell, or republish them. Clinicians wanting to use the material with clients should contact us about a practice licence.

Acceptable use

Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service, and don't use community spaces to harass other families. We may suspend access for serious or repeated breaches.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the date above and, for subscribers, notified by email. Questions can be sent to the contact address shown on your receipt.
