First Words Daily turns speech-therapy technique into one small thing to do today — with a video of a therapist doing it first, built around whatever your autistic child is obsessed with this week, and a chart that proves it's working.

The information was never the problem.
Everything in a $24 speech-delay guide is already free somewhere. It's on YouTube, in forum threads, in the handout your SLP gave you. Parents don't buy those guides because the knowledge is scarce — they buy them at 1am because they feel helpless and want something to hold.
And then almost nobody does the exercises. Not because they don't care — because a PDF has no idea it's Tuesday, no idea your child only wants to talk about lifts this month, and no way of showing you that anything changed.
A guide gives you 64 pages.
We give you one thing to do before the school run, and the ten seconds of logging that turns it into a record.
A guide is written for everyone.
Your child is obsessed with the washing machine. Tomorrow's activity is about the washing machine.
A guide never tells you if it worked.
Twelve weeks in, you get a chart. Some weeks it's flat. That's information too, and you can take it to your SLP.
We still sell the guide, for $24, because some parents genuinely just want the reference. It's the first two weeks of the programme in a file you keep. We just won't pretend a download is a plan.
Three steps, then it's just part of the morning.
- 1
Tell us about your child
Six questions: age, how they communicate today, what lights them up, and what's hardest right now. Two minutes, no clinical jargon.
- 2
Practise five minutes a day
Each morning you get one activity, built around your child's current obsession, with a short video of an SLP doing it first. Do it at breakfast. Then get on with your day.
- 3
Watch the line move
Ten seconds of logging afterwards. Over weeks you get a real record of new words, new gestures, new attempts — and a report you can hand your speech therapist.
Everything the download couldn't do.
Built with licensed speech-language pathologists, shaped by parents who told us exactly where the last resource lost them.
A new activity every morning
Not a library you have to browse. One thing to do today, chosen for where your child is this week, waiting when you wake up.
See it before you do it
Every technique comes with a 60–120 second video of a licensed SLP modelling it with a real child, plus what to do when it doesn't go to plan.
Built around their special interest
Trains, lifts, the vacuum cleaner, one specific song. Motivation is the whole game, so activities are rewritten around whatever your child is fixated on right now.
Progress you can actually see
Word counts, gesture use, imitation attempts and AAC presses, charted over months. On the hard days, evidence that the last eight weeks were not nothing.
Written by SLPs, not by an algorithm
Every technique and video is authored and reviewed by licensed paediatric speech-language pathologists. AI handles sequencing and personalisation, never clinical content.
Parents who get it
A moderated community of families at the same stage, plus a weekly Q&A where an SLP answers the questions you didn't get to ask in your fifteen-minute appointment.
See a real plan before you pay anything.
Tell us three things about your child and we'll write tomorrow morning's activity. This is the actual personalisation members get daily — not a sample screenshot.

From families in the beta cohort.
I had four PDFs saved and had read none of them twice. This is the first thing that told me what to do on a Tuesday when I'd slept four hours. Noah has eleven words now. In March he had two.
The videos are what changed it. Reading 'model the word and wait' meant nothing to me. Watching someone actually wait — that awkwardly long pause — I finally understood what I'd been doing wrong for a year.
Our SLP asked what we'd been doing differently. I exported the twelve-week chart and she added two of the activities to her own session plan. That felt good.
Illustrative testimonials from fictional families, shown while our first cohort completes the programme. We'll replace them with named, verified stories — and the ones where progress was slow — before general launch.

Both doors lead to the same techniques. One is a file you keep; the other keeps showing up.

The questions parents actually ask.
Honestly? A PDF is a good reference and a terrible habit. You read it once, feel motivated, and it lives in your downloads folder forever. First Words Daily turns the same evidence-based techniques into one five-minute action each morning, shows you a therapist doing it on video, and keeps a record so you can see whether it's working. If you only want the reference material, the $24 Starter Guide is exactly that — and we'll happily sell you just that.
No, and we'd be worried about anyone who claimed otherwise. Most children in the programme are on a waitlist for therapy, or see an SLP once a week and have six other days to fill. This is the practice between sessions — the part research consistently shows matters most. Every plan is exportable so your SLP can see what you've been doing.
Yes. Communication is the goal, speech is one route to it. Plans adapt to gestures, sign, picture exchange, and AAC devices, and we treat a modelled button press as a win worth tracking. You choose your child's primary communication mode during setup and the daily exercises follow it.
Five minutes, built into something you already do — breakfast, the car, bath time. There is no separate "therapy hour" to schedule. If you miss days, the plan reflows instead of guilt-tripping you with a broken streak.
Every technique and video in the library is created and reviewed by licensed speech-language pathologists with paediatric autism experience. The AI personalises which activity comes next and reframes it around your child's current interests — it never invents clinical technique on its own.
Progress notes stay in your account and are never sold or used for advertising. You can export everything as a PDF for your care team, or delete it permanently, at any time. This marketing site itself stores nothing — the waitlist form below doesn't even have a database behind it yet.
Cancel in one click from your account; you keep access to the end of the billing period. If you've practised for 30 days and seen nothing change, email us and we'll refund you in full — we'd rather have the feedback than the $19.
